This is my other entry to the "natural rim lighting contest" in a magazine (see Nov 20 post). You have to look at the edges of the fern leaves closely to see the rim light effect. See the whitish edge?
Ferns abound in my garden. I did not plant them, they just appeared and seemed to have colonized a corner. I am lucky they decided to stay because they are very nice subjects for photos. They are not only graceful but they also exhibit patterns that are rather pleasing to the eye.
