Last weekend, we were at Corregidor. This is a small, rocky island near Manila and is aptly called "the rock". It served as the headquarters of the Allied Forces (Filipino and American) during World War II. There are thus many remnants of ruined buildings and artillery that now serve as tourist attractions here.
The photo is a view of the island harbor from the top. This shows our group as we were waiting for the sun to rise.

The place is a good location for nature shots. I will visit this island again in April. Our photo club visited the island in 2005 and we enjoyed it very much - reminiscing the past!
You are right, it's a nice place for nature shots. We also enjoyed our overnight stay there.
